Sirius earns the IBM Overall Technical Vitality Beacon Award for the third consecutive year
21 February 2011 - Sirius was once again named the winner of the global award for “Overall Technical Vitality” in the annual IBM Beacon Awards competition. IBM Beacon Awards are a prestigious honor awarded each year to a select number of IBM Business Partners who consistently provide technical excellence and innovative solutions based on IBM products and services. In October, 2009, Sirius achieved IBM Business Partner Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Specialty. Sirius has made significant investments in IBM SOA product skills, and reached this accreditation by meeting both business and technical criteria. What does this mean to you? The SOA Specialty Accreditation process allows IBM to measure the skills and investments of the partners, giving you the assurance that we meet IBM's requirements for successful SOA implementations.

IBM Information On Demand is a strategy that addresses the challenges of unlocking and extracting value from information to globalize and integrate business processes and become more innovative. Power Systems
Sirius has proven experience and expertise needed to provide the best AIX/UNIX, Linux and IBM i integration and implementation support and services. A dedicated team of certified IBM Power Systems specialists design and configure the right hardware and software for your work
environment. We also have certified client advocates who coordinate and perform solution assurance reviews to ensure the quality of all Power Systems orders and the completeness of the implementation plan. Lastly, certified technical consultants are available to perform fee-based services for IBM Power Systems, System i and System p servers.
System x / BladeCenter Systems
Sirius has the expertise to provide design, configuration and implementation requirements for System x and BladeCenter systems. Certified x86 product specialists can help map your specific requirements to the right systems configuration, integrate other components like storage and networking, and perform implementation services. As with POWER and System z systems, we have certified System x / BladeCenter advocates who conduct solution assurance reviews to make sure all the details are taken care of, expectations are addressed, and both your team and the Sirius team have clear action items documented. Sirius has additional skills in virtualization and is a VMware Enterprise Partner.
System z / Mainframe Systems
Sirius has the most experienced System z pre-sales technical assistance, certified System z experts to assist with implementation, and client advocates dedicated to ensure smooth implementation. We are leading the way in terms of Linux installations on System z IFLs, understanding and helping clients get the benefit from specialty engines (zAAP, zIIP, IFL, ICF), have the industry's most experienced Parallel Sysplex experts for HA and DR requirements, and a number of strategic services created to help clients get the most from their investments in System z.
Storage
Because every one of our clients is challenged with a daunting amount of additional storage needed to keep up with the rate at which we are creating and saving more structured and unstructured data, Sirius has significantly increased our investments in education and certified experts. SAP Accreditation for IBM Systems and Storage
Sirius achieved IBM Systems and Technology Group SAP Accreditation. The accreditation allows Sirius to work with SAP and SAP resellers to provide clients with a complete IBM infrastructure solution for SAP applications. This accreditation covers the full suite of IBM server and IBM System storage offerings for SAP and gives Sirius the information we need to properly size and recommend IBM products for SAP installations. Clients can be confident that Sirius has the necessary education, experience and capabilities to provide IBM products and expert support for SAP application environments. |
Oracle Accreditation for IBM Systems and Storage
Sirius earned the IBM STG Accreditation for Oracle by meeting the standards established by the IBM Oracle International Competency Center. The accreditation allows Sirius to work with Oracle and Oracle resellers to provide clients with a complete IBM infrastructure solution for Oracle applications and middleware. |
