Sirius is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Advanced Infrastructure, which means that we have demonstrated superior levels of successful implementations, capabilities and certification. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners are required to meet rigorous requirements for certification and expertise. Sirius provides IBM infrastructure solutions for Microsoft software, including IBM System x and BladeCenter servers, IBM storage, and NetApp storage. We also have expertise in sizing, configuring, implementating and integrating environments for applications like SAP and Oracle running on Microsoft operating systems.

Sirius became a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in 2005. We focus on certifications, and require our consultants in the Sirius services practice that deal with Microsoft technologies to either hold Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) status or be poised to achieve MCSE status within six months.

Resources such as demonstration software that we use internally to experiment with different scenarios and to address potential problems, and quick access to technical experts at Microsoft help us provide better Microsoft solutions to our clients.
One area in which Sirius is focused with additional expertise and experience is data center optimization and virtualization. Clients are starting to use blade servers or very large x86-based servers in their data centers to make the most of the available space and cooling capacity. Many of those servers run on the Windows Server operating system, and some clients run multiple instances of the operating system on one server.
