IBM has announced that Sirius has achieved the Healthcare Industry Authorization for its EPIC EMR Supportability, Availability and Resiliency solution. The authorization is the result of a nearly year-long process during which Sirius demonstrated extensive knowledge of IBM Software and the healthcare industry through dedicated staffing, related certifications and client references.

Epic Systems Corporation makes software for midsize and large medical groups, hospitals and integrated healthcare organizations, with customers that include community hospitals, academic facilities, children’s organizations, safety net providers, and multi-hospital systems. Their Epic integrated software suite provides many features to support the deployment of a compliant IT service environment, with applications that span clinical, access and revenue functions, and even extend to the home.

The Sirius Epic EMR Supportability, Availability and Resiliency Solution is the result of Sirius’ extensive work with Epic to design specific architecture patterns, while leveraging IBM Software solutions and unique deployment processes to meet the requirements of healthcare providers. Healthcare is just the latest IBM industry authorization for which Sirius has been recognized.
