- A new Power 560 Express, with 4-, 8- and 12-core 3.6GHz options
- A new 32-core 4.2GHz Power 570, built with two dual-core modules on one processor card
- New I/O features for the Power 575 and 595
- New features available on the JS12/JS22 blades, including enhanced external storage support
- Systems Director v6.1 for Power Systems
- PowerHA v5.5, with enhancements include asynchronous replication and support for LPAR mobility
