Solutions for IBM System z, IBM Power Systems and Industry-Standard Server (x86) platforms are offered in the most secure commercially available facilities in the industry, as evidenced by their Tier III design certification from the Uptime Institute.
Independent certification to rigorous, nationally recognized auditing standards such as SOC2, PCI and FISMA provides assurance that the recovery environment is being managed successfully to safeguard the security of clients’ critical assets and data.
In addition, services are delivered over a unique private fiber network that connects to three major peering points with access to over 700 international and domestic carriers, providing connectivity from anywhere in the US, and flexible ‘last-mile’ connectivity into the recovery facilities.
If your plan currently relies solely on tape backup and restores, but your RTO and RPO have changed, then you should consider SAN-to-SAN or a form of Cloud Backup and Recovery. Sirius can provide SAN replication to our recovery facility, allowing faster recovery to shared server infrastructure. We also offer full high availability Managed Services for IBM Power Systems running AIX and IBM i, utilizing HACMP, MIMIX and Echo2, with combinations of on-client premise and remotely hosted options. Monitoring and management of clients’ on-premise implementations are achieved using IBM TSM and Symantec NetBackup.
Unlike many DR service providers that do not allow for easy contract modification as business needs change, Sirius offers exceptional flexibility regarding server mix, co-location of client-owned assets such as SAN, and testing requirements. Yet even with that flexibility, Sirius still provides highly competitive pricing.
