Ranks at #24 in the Philanthropy 50 List

San Antonio, TX – January 15, 2008 – Through the Harvey E. Najim Family Foundation, established in December 2006, Harvey Najim, CEO and Chairman of Sirius Computer Solutions, has started to deliver on his promise of making a difference in the lives of children in the San Antonio community.

“I am honored and humbled to be part of this list, but I’m really not the hero,” said Najim. “The heroes are the people who work in the organizations that we gave money to, who are helping to build new schools, creating safe places for kids to get off drugs, granting miracles to children with terminal diseases. Since I am involved in every grant my foundation awards, I am getting to see firsthand how my grants are empowering these heroes to do more and make a difference in the lives of the children they serve.”

The Chronicle of Philanthropy published “The Philanthropy 50: Americans Who Gave the Most in 2007” list on January 14, 2008. This is the first time Mr. Najim has been on the list; he holds the number 24 spot.
